The handle is made of bamboo. The bristles are made of plastic and coated with charcoal.

Place your toothbrush at a 45-degree angle to the gums. Gently move the brush back and forth in short (tooth-wide) strokes. Brush the outer surfaces, the inner surfaces, and the chewing surfaces of the teeth for at least two minutes Rinse off Note: Change your brush every three months for best results.

The toothbrush handle is home compostable. Remove the bristles (which is plastic) and the rest of the body can be chopped and composted or can be disposed as dry waste.
