Priyamvada shares her sustainability story
with us.
What triggered your sustainability journey?
I am lucky to be born into a family where staying close to nature has been a part of life. As kids, we used to make our own shampoos and detergents! When I moved out for studies and work, chemical-based products were used all because of a lack of time and patience. Post pandemic when everyone was looking to nature for better immunity, I decided to go back to our old ways and since then I have been trying to remove all artificial and harmful chemicals from our daily lives with some success, but it is still a long way to go.
Your personal sustainability mantra:
Be consistent in whatever good habit you take up.
One sustainable habit that you never want to let go of:
Taking stairs, walking/cycling short distances as much as possible.
One sustainable habit that you would love to develop:
Zero waste. We plan to become a zero-waste facility by the year 2024.
What would your advice be to people willing to do more to preserve the planet?
If you want to change some of your habits, start with something you can sustain; and like we have been doing for ages, reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible.
One fact that you would like to tell people about your brand:
No natural food can be bad if taken in moderation. Our body needs everything but in the right quantity. We make sure that our products have the right balance of everything good, are free of chemical additives, and are tasty for you to sustain a healthy living.
